What you’ll need:
A balloon.
A lighter
A candle
A bottle of water
Steps:
- Fill the balloon with a little bit of water.
- Tie the balloon up.
- Get an adult and let them light up the candle.
- Place the balloon on the candle.
What’s happening?:
Water is a great substance for soaking up heat. The water in the balloon makes it so it is fireproof. The water absorbs heat from the candle, through the latex of the balloon.
